This is a wonderful example of the early arithmetic books used in public and private schools. It was entered into the act of Congress in 1866.
As I was reading the preface to the teacher, I noticed that this book was given to students around the age of 10 or 11 and to be used with them for the next four years. They used it for awhile, which means this book is in pretty good condition for its age!
The inside has writing (Pencil) and there is a composition paper stuck to one of the pages. The spine has a slight tear at the bottom.
Overall, a really nice looking book inside ... which is hard to find with this age.
Size: approx. 7 1/2" x 5" x 1 3/4"

This is a wonderful, very deep set picture frame which has an opening just perfect for a 3 x 5" postcard, which is what I have framed here from 1909 or choose an old family photo... they will both look stunning!
There are a couple of chippy shabby areas which actually make it perfect for that vintage, shabby cottage style. I just love this romantic, cottage look! (I have taken close up pictures of the issues.)The antique rose postcard is marked "COPYRIGHT 1909 L.R. Conwell NY", inside the glass. The opening is approx. 3" x 5".The whole box frame itself measures approx. 9 3/4" x 11 1/4" x 2 1/4" deep. The back has a modern style screw in fasteners to keep the easel back in place. However, the easel back is a bit flimsy. I would say using the vertical hanger is your best bet, or add your own horizontal hanger.
This is an awesome fox fur collar from a vintage coat. It is lined and is already cut into the curve of a coat collar.
Make a new coat collar from this or as I've seen others do, create something else new from it... maybe a purse or tote.
It measures approx. 37 - 38 inches around by 8 1/2" across one of the sides at the widest point.
Seems large enough to just add a clip in the center and wear it as a wrap for a vintage winter wedding.
This is a GORGEOUS neck wrap or scarf. The fur is deep black like midnight and is super soft and silky with short hair. Probably a type of mink because the fur is too short to be beaver. It is marked with the original furrier's tag: Goodman's Reliable Furs Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It measures approx. 42 1/2" long x 5 1/2" wide.Beautiful! Looking for a great home with someone who appreciates fine furs. It was kept in great condition.
Lace edge plates are fun because you can change them up and decorate them for different holidays or seasons.
With this listing you will receive an 8" plate, pink ribbon and an antique Valentine postcard.
The post card depicts a Victorian child finding a red heart in the snow with the words "Found at Last!"
There is just something so sweet and romantic about old spools/bobbins and lace. And this grouping comes with a couple of extra special pieces.
See the note on the white lace in the forefront of the photo? It says that this lace was from "Aunt Blanche's crochet put on pillow cases for our wedding gift 1943."
How precious is that? You also receive the antique romantic postcard as shown.
The wooden bobbins are about 4 1/4" high.
The quality of T&V Limoges porcelain is always so apparent when I find beauties like this sweet three legged bowl.
Trimmed in gold, the garland of pretty roses is just the right touch. Note the inside of the bowl is also decorated with matching roses.
Measures approx. 4 3/4" in diameter.
